Buildings 39 and 45 house our continued treatment services (CTS). Treatment is provided for persons in need of longer-term psychiatric care. Programs are designed to facilitate the patient's successful transition from an inpatient setting to community living whenever possible. Program components emphasize individualized, psychosocial rehabilitation, which may include health and hygiene, communication skills, coping skills, medication management, nutrition and food preparation, home management, work skills and recreation/leisure skills. Instruction may also be provided in the use of transportation, comparative shopping, money management and use of community resources.
